Even GPT-5 Can’t Solve the Islamic Dilemma
In this video, I put the newest AI model, GPT-5, to the test—not with a math problem, but with one of the most well-known challenges in Christian–Muslim dialogue: the Islamic dilemma.
The Islamic dilemma goes like this: The Qur’an confirms the Gospel (Injil) and the Torah (Tawrat) many times. But the Qur’an also contradicts these scriptures in major ways. If the Gospels are true → the Qur’an is false. If the Gospels are corrupted → the Qur’an is still false for confirming them.
Is there any logical way out of this? Even GPT-5—famous for solving complex problems—had to give me a straight answer… and it’s not looking good for the Qur’an’s consistency.
What you’ll see in this video: A quick intro to GPT-5’s upgrades and abilities. My live conversation with GPT-5 about the Islamic dilemma. Why historical manuscripts make this argument even stronger. GPT-5’s final verdict—yes or no—on whether the dilemma can be logically resolved.
